Bitget Stock+

Bitget Stock+ is now live as a Stocks 2.0 feature for eligible users who want to buy U.S. stocks with crypto. Bitget said digital assets convert into USDC before purchases. The product targets users seeking equities inside one crypto account.

According to a report, Bitget Stock+ is not a synthetic stock product or a derivative, the company said. Rather, it is through regulated brokers that users are given ownership of the underlying shares. Holders can also be eligible for cash dividends and stock split adjustments associated with their position.

Bitget Stock+ Adds U.S. Market Hours and Real Share Ownership

Trading is based on U.S. trading times. According to Bitget, the feature includes pre-market, regular trading, and after-hours sessions. The building will offer a method for crypto owners to access U.S. stocks without having to switch accounts through different banks and brokerages.

Two people both want to buy NVIDIA stock.

One lives onchain. Wallets, USDC, 24/7 access. Ask him to wire money to a broker and wait two days for the funds to arrive, and he will probably just laugh.

The other has traded stocks for 20 years. Spend half an hour explaining… https://t.co/AMexXx9CBb

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said ownership was central to the launch. He said access is significant; ownership is critical. She stated that giving the users a real ownership in U.S.-listed companies helps to connect crypto markets with traditional finance.

Bitget has updated Stocks 2.0 in early June, and the launch follows. With that update came the launch of Reality, a protocol for regulated real-world assets, and rTokens, a tokenized stock series. As reported earlier, Reality issues 1:1-backed tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs using structures that are connected to controlled brokers.

Bitget claims its platform has over 500 top U.S. stocks and ETFs. Among the items listed are products associated with SpaceX, Tesla, and Nvidia. It also announced that assets under management linked to rToken products have surpassed $50 million.

Bitget Stock+ introduces a new direct ownership path in addition to the tokenized path. The service also provides for inbound stock transfers from participating brokers via normal transfer procedures. This feature allows users to transfer existing U.S. equity investments into Bitget’s portfolio environment.

Crypto Exchanges Expand Stock Products as Bitget Adds Stock+

The company did not disclose if outbound stock transfers are available at launch. The announcement said that the fee of Bitget Stock+ begins at 0.1%. Eligible users can take advantage of a 50% promotional discount, available until August 31, 2026.

Bitget Stock+ is built for that audience. It does not permit mixing stock exposure with derivative-type products. That is accomplished with broker-backed ownership arrangements, the company said.

Bitget is the latest in a series of crypto exchanges to expand into stock products, amid rising demand for single-account investing solutions.

Binance recently introduced bStocks, a platform for tokenizing shares of Nvidia, Tesla, and Circle. Gate has also launched more than 1,000 Hong Kong stocks via USDT on the platform for users.

The transfer is part of Bitget’s strategy to develop a multi-asset exchange featuring stocks, ETFs, tokenized assets, and crypto all under a single trading interface. It also demonstrates the potential for stablecoins to connect crypto holdings to conventional securities.

Over time, ownership, tokenization, or a combination of both will be available to determine the extent to which the model will proliferate, depending on regulation, regional access, and broker arrangements.
