Dogecoin remains under bearish pressure as traders wait for a confirmed breakout to signal a sustained recovery. At the same time, rising on-chain activity and a 16% increase in active addresses point to growing network participation, supporting a more constructive long-term outlook for DOGE.

Dogecoin (DOGE) remains in a bearish trend as traders wait for a confirmed breakout before expecting a sustained recovery. Meanwhile, growing on-chain activity reflects rising network participation and improving investor interest, supporting a stronger long-term outlook if bullish momentum continues to build.

At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.06969 with a 24-hour trading volume of $409.4 million and a market capitalization of $10.82 billion. Despite the signs of stability over the last 24 hours, the DOGE price structure and onchain activity point to a bullish reversal ahead.

Dogecoin Price Awaits Confirmed Bullish Breakout

According to the crypto analyst Stefan, DOGE continues trading within a well-defined bearish market structure, with analysts urging caution before opening new long positions.

Despite occasional price rebounds, the broader trend remains weak, and traders are waiting for a confirmed breakout above resistance to validate a potential reversal. Until then, bullish conviction remains limited across the market.

The prevailing chart is making lower lows and lower highs and thereby confirming the prevailing downward trend, where sellers are dominating.

Traders have been cautioned not to enter into long positions too soon since there is a risk of getting “caught holding a falling knife.” A breakthrough above $0.80 with good volume would be more positive for the rebound.

Dogecoin Network Growth Signals Rising Interest

The data from the crypto analyst Ali Charts further highlighted that the recent performance of Dogecoin shows signs of on-chain momentum, following the trend of growing activity in the network of this digital asset.

Indeed, there was an increase of 16% in weekly active DOGE addresses to 44,000 from 38,000. The noticeable increase in activity reflects growing interest from investors in this meme coin.

The rise in active addresses is generally seen as an encouraging signal that bodes well for the network’s progress.

Even though growth in on-chain metrics alone cannot be taken to mean that a price upswing will occur immediately, the combination of other factors, such as increased user engagement and improved market sentiment, could boost the bullish view on Dogecoin.

Despite the bullish price predictions and network growth, the DOGE price is still moving in a neutral territory. However, the general trend in the crypto market has started to turn positive, and DOGE could soon witness a breakout if conditions remain favorable.

What Happens Next for Dogecoin?

In case Dogecoin manages to break out above the resistance level accompanied by growing trade volumes, the bulls’ momentum might become stronger and bring in more buyers.

The further increase in the number of active addresses might create a favorable atmosphere and help Dogecoin recover. If the resistance is not broken, the bearish trend will continue.
