Ethereum price is approaching a crucial stage as whale activity and institutional ETF demand continue to strengthen market interest. While analysts identify $1,733 as a key support level, investors are watching whether ETH can break above major resistance and extend its recent recovery.

Ethereum price is drawing renewed market attention as whale activity rises, technical indicators improve, and institutional demand continues to grow through spot exchange-traded funds. ETH is entering a critical phase as investors assess whether the recent recovery can develop into a larger upward move.

Ethereum (ETH) is currently trading at $1,916.03 with the daily trading volume being equal to $23.13 billion, with the market capitalization of $231.23 billion, and accounts for 10.53% of the overall crypto market. ETH increased by 1.70% during the last 24 hours.

Ethereum Whales Move $430 Million as Market Watches Next Direction

Whale wallets were active recently, with the total amount of sold or transferred coins being almost 226,435 ETH, which was completed within 24 hours. The activity of whales resulted in moving almost $430M of ETH.

According to a recent post by crypto analyst Ali Charts, $1,733 was a vital area of support for the Ethereum price. Breaking below this level would undermine the recovery of the asset.

The recent whale activity comes as Ethereum attempts to recover from previous declines. Before the buyers entered, the Ethereum price fell towards the $1,600 area, but then the asset managed to recover and go up above some technical indicators.

Ethereum Price Gains Institutional Support

Ethereum’s institutional investment story continues to expand as more spot ETFs enter the market. Recently, another ETF appeared, Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE), which started trading on NYSE Arca on July 28 and increased the number of listed spot Ethereum ETFs to 11.

The mentioned ETF recorded $5.15 million of net inflows on its first day and traded for $19.03 million, as per SoSoValue.

BlackRock’s ETHB remained the leading Ethereum ETF by daily inflows, attracting $5.91 million. The fund’s cumulative inflows have now reached $529 million, showing continued institutional interest in Ethereum exposure.

Across all spot Ethereum ETFs, total net assets have grown to $10.50 billion, representing around 4.53% of Ethereum’s total market capitalization. Combined net inflows across these funds have reached $11.21 billion.

What Happens Next for Ethereum?

Ethereum price now faces a key decision point. The cryptocurrency must defend support near $1,733 while attempting to break through resistance between $1,980 and $2,080.

Several factors could influence ETH’s next move, including whale activity, ETF inflows, broader market conditions, and demand for blockchain applications. Institutional adoption through ETFs adds a new layer of demand, while technical indicators suggest improving momentum.

For investors watching Ethereum, the main takeaway is that the asset is entering a crucial stage. A successful breakout could strengthen the recovery trend, while a loss of major support may slow the current momentum. The coming weeks will likely determine whether Ethereum’s latest move develops into a larger market cycle or remains a short-term recovery phase.
