Ethereum is attracting attention after Bitmine, led by Fundstrat’s Tom Lee, staked another 159,728 ETH worth approximately $390.6 million, according to Lookonchain. The transaction brings Bitmine’s total staked Ethereum to 5.23 million ETH, valued at around $12.78 billion and representing 86.5% of its total holdings. Meanwhile, crypto analyst Dami-Defi identified an ETH price breakout, with $2,410–$2,420 emerging as a key support zone. Whether buyers can defend this level and overcome nearby resistance will determine if the recovery gains momentum.

Bitmine Expands Its Ethereum Staking Position
According to Lookonchain, Bitmine recently staked an additional 159,728 ETH, valued at approximately $390.6 million. The latest transaction brings the company’s total staked Ethereum to 5.23 million ETH, worth around $12.78 billion.
The reported figures show that 86.5% of Bitmine’s total ETH holdings are now staked. This highlights the company’s continued commitment to Ethereum and its staking ecosystem.

Ethereum staking allows holders to participate in network validation and earn rewards. However, staked assets are subject to withdrawal procedures and other applicable constraints, meaning they may not be immediately available for trading or other uses.
Bitmine’s latest move is significant because of the size of its reported position. Still, a large staking transaction does not automatically indicate an imminent price increase. Its market impact depends on broader demand, liquidity conditions, and investor sentiment toward Ethereum.

Bitmine’s Staking Activity Adds Context to the Outlook
Bitmine’s growing staking position provides additional context for Ethereum’s broader market outlook. With 5.23 million ETH reportedly staked, the company has committed a substantial portion of its holdings to network participation rather than keeping those assets immediately available for other purposes.
This move shows participation at an institutional level in Ethereum staking, but there is no evidence to show that other investors have adopted the same approach. There is also no confirmation yet about the immediate decline in selling pressure on the market, as this is only an activity of Bitmine alone.
Trading volume, open interest, exchange flows, and general market conditions will play a part in determining whether Ethereum’s technical breakout will have support beyond just its technicals. Without such additional numbers, the strength of the recovery remains questionable.
ETH Price Breakout Puts Key Resistance in Focus
According to crypto analyst Dami-Defi, the ETH price managed to break through the downtrend line, implying that bulls might be trying to get back in control. There is a chance of an uptrend continuation as long as ETH trades above the area of $2,410-$2,420.
The first important level of resistance is located at $2,470-$2,490. An effective breakout through the specified area may attract the attention of the next resistance area from $2,535-$2,545.

However, the breakout is still in the early stages. The ETH cryptocurrency needs further buying momentum to keep the above broken trendline and form a better recovery pattern.
If the price retreats below the levels of $2,410-$2,420, the bullish technical pattern might lose its strength. Consequently, traders will probably shift their focus to the support levels of $2,360-$2,380.
ETH Price Recovery Depends on Holding the Breakout
Despite the drop, Dami-Defi still expects Ethereum to recover while it maintains its position above the broken trend line at $2,410-$2,420. In his immediate term forecast, Dami-Defi expects resistance in $2,470-$2,490 and $2,535-$2,545.
This difference is very important because if buyers hold on to the previous trendline resistance as support for the asset, then there could be some short-term strength in the Ethereum price. Failure to do so and a rejection from the current resistance level will be a negative situation.
The analyst’s levels represent potential areas of market interest rather than guaranteed price targets.
What Comes Next for ETH?
Short-term perspective on Ethereum depends on the ability of buyers to hold above $2,410-$2,420 and break higher resistance. Break above $2,490 will allow approaching $2,535-$2,545, while failure at resistance will bring back $2,360-$2,380 in view. On the other hand, Bitmine’s staking worth $390.6 million is showing strong commitment to Ethereum, though price confirmation is key.
