Litecoin (LTC) is showing signs of recovery as buyers defend its rising trendline and selling pressure eases. Meanwhile, rising on-chain activity points to stronger network usage despite subdued price action, potentially supporting Litecoin’s long-term fundamentals and renewed investor interest.

At the time of writing, LTC is trading at $45.45 with a 24-hour trading volume of $169.18 million and a market capitalization of $3.52 billion. Despite the signs if stability over the last 24 hours, the LTC price structure and on-chain growth point to a bullish reversal ahead.

LTC Price Targets $48 After Bullish Trendline Rebound

According to the crypto analyst Marcus Corvinus, Litecoin (LTC) is showing early signs of recovery as buyers attempt to regain control after recent weakness.

The cryptocurrency has rebounded from support within its rising channel while breaking above a short-term descending trendline. This move suggests selling pressure is easing, with bullish momentum potentially strengthening if LTC continues holding the ascending trendline.

Focus is now directed at the $47-$48 resistance area, which may play a significant role in the direction of Litecoin’s next move.

A successful breakout from this zone will reinforce the positive sentiment and may result in additional gains. Meanwhile, breaking down below the upward-sloping trendline may undermine the rally and favor sellers.

Litecoin On-Chain Volume Surges Despite Price Stagnation

The data from the boglee further highlighted that Litecoin (LTC) is witnessing a strong uptrend in its on-chain transactions while making a significant difference from its poor price movement for the last four years.

While there has been no significant price move for the cryptocurrency, it seems like the transactions are growing rapidly, which means that Litecoin usage is increasing despite the absence of any price rally among investors.

The increasing on-chain volume might enhance Litecoin’s fundamentals for the long term because it shows the network is still in use.

The increasing usage of Litecoin without any increase in its price might show that the network’s usage is taking place independently of the hype surrounding it in the market.

What Happens Next for Litecoin?

The next steps for Litecoin rest on two turning points, one of which involves maintaining the ascending trendline, and the other entails a breakout above the level of $47-$48 resistance.

Such a breakout may lead to strengthening the bull sentiment, while constant on-chain activity will strengthen investors’ confidence. On the contrary, a move below the trendline support level may reverse the uptrend.
