LTC Price Targets $47 After Triangle Formation

According to the crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal, Litecoin (LTC) is consolidating inside a tightening triangle on the 1-hour chart, with price trapped between descending resistance and rising support.

Resistance remains near $45.0–$45.5, while buyers are defending the $43.8–$44.0 area. This compression suggests volatility is declining and a decisive move could emerge soon as the LTC price approaches the pattern’s breakout point.

A breakout above the resistance at $45.0-$45.5 will give additional strength to the uptrend, driving the LTC price closer to $47.

But it should be noted that confirmation is needed; otherwise a reversal might lead to extended sideways price movement. At the same time, a breakdown below $43.8-$44.0 will negate the bullish pattern.

Litecoin Gains MWEB Support on Baltex Protocol

The data from baltex further highlighted that Litecoin (LTC) has extended its utility in decentralized finance by adding functionality with the Baltex Protocol that now enables MWEB addresses. The protocol provides the ability to deposit shielded LTC, ensuring transaction privacy.

Litecoin now also has connections to wider cross-chain infrastructure, providing more possibilities for transferring their assets across different blockchains without relying on third-party systems.

The non-custodial design of Baltex will allow users to conduct cross-chain swaps of LTC tokens without giving up control over their funds during the entire transaction process.

This addition can enhance the use of Litecoin for more purposes than just payments through increased interoperability, privacy, and decentralization of liquidity. With increasing use of MWEB, Litecoin can find more applications within the DeFi space.

What Happens Next?

The next action of Litecoin will be determined by how the LTC price performs above the $45.00 to $45.50 resistance area. A clear breakout will see the price target $47, but failure will lead to further consolidation.

At the same time, more adoption of MWEB in Baltex will provide more privacy and interchain transactions for Litecoin users.
