Crypto Twitter is actively debating Warren Buffett’s most recent statement regarding cryptocurrency and Bitcoin. While the topic was still hot, bitcoin bull Anthony Pompliano didn’t leave a chance to slam Buffett’s anti-bitcoin view.
It’s worth remembering that Warren Buffett in his recent interview said: “I don’t own any cryptocurrency,”. More so, he also rejected the idea abruptly that there was any value in Bitcoin. His latest view comes in the wake of the Buffett charity lunch which was successfully hosted on January 23, 2020.
😂 @justinsuntron? he knows how to sell that bitcoin? Or we can consider that’s “burned”?
Nice effort, but you can only take a horse to water…
This is why I rarely try to convince anyone. Their choice.
Crypto doesn’t have to be used by everyone. My grandma never used USD. https://t.co/3iHeAp16H7

Following the completion of Buffett charity lunch, Sun immediately claimed that Buffett indeed owned some Bitcoin and TRX which he gifted him. He also noted that blockchain could prove it. However, the issue people had with Buffett was not his denial of holding Bitcoins essentially, but rather his outdated thoughts about the technology.
Anthony Pompliano, who is famously known as “Pomp” the co-founder and partner at Morgan Creek Digital, on Tuesday, spoke to CNN’s Julia Chatterley in a recently conducted interview at the New York Stock Exchange. He had more to say about the interview of Warren Buffet.
I spoke to @jchatterleyCNN this AM.
Explained why Warren Buffett isn't a great person to listen to on technology and why Bitcoin's monetary policy is superior to fiat monetary policy.
If this video gets 500,000 views, Julia will bring on more Bitcoiners.

Although Pomp acknowledged Buffett as a prominent investor and consider him a financial genius, yet he believes that Buffett is not associated and is out of touch when it comes to the blockchain and cryptocurrencies industry. He slammed Buffett by saying;
“I really don’t take technology advice from somebody who uses a flip phone or doesn’t use email.”
Pompliano discussed further and continued the interview by sharing his views on the fame of the tremendous crypto-asset – Bitcoin – in Europe. Recently, a European country Sweden started testing a digital currency e-korona. If Sweden becomes successful in its pilot program for the e-korona, then it would give access that average citizens could conduct daily basis transactions through the blockchain.
“Everything will be digital. Instead, what we’re going to have is a competition of monetary policy. That’s I think where we believe that the Bitcoin monetary policy is superior to central bank monetary policies and ultimately Bitcoin will be the winner and will be the global reserve currency at some point in the future.”
Also, other countries have been planning to introduce their digital currency. Moreover, officials in Japan held conferences to discuss a digital Yen, meanwhile this month People’s Bank of China filed applications for a patent regarding a digital Renminbi.
