Ondo Finance Tokenization is expanding across stocks, investment portfolios, Treasuries, and major blockchain networks, strengthening its role in the growing real-world asset market.

Ondo Finance Tokenization is spreading to stocks, investments, and conventional financial infrastructure as the company continues to introduce more products and collaborations in the ever-growing real-world assets platform.

Intelligent Portfolios have been introduced; there is increased access to tokenized stocks through Alpaca, Ondo Stocks has been made available on NEAR, and the subsidiary has been integrated into the DTCC’s Fund/SERV network.

These initiatives are indicative of Ondo expanding from tokenizing individual assets to developing a platform that can help tokenize traditional financial instruments on blockchain platforms.

The firm now plans to tokenize several segments of the investment market, which include US Treasury Bonds, stocks, diversified asset baskets, and fund distribution.

Ondo Finance Tokenization Expands With Intelligent Portfolios

Intelligent Portfolios is a newly introduced product from Ondo Finance that consists of investment strategies packaged as on-chain tokens.

These portfolios have strategies that have been developed by BlackRock for Ondo. Instead of having different assets to manage, the portfolios are represented by one on-chain token.

The investment strategies in question are meant to give access to various investment strategies by making use of the blockchain platform for asset holding and transfer. The product launch provides yet another application for Ondo Finance Tokenization as the firm evolves from tokenizing financial assets to tokenizing investment strategies.

This process may further facilitate portfolio products’ distribution on blockchain platforms.

Institutions Can Convert Existing Shares Into Ondo Stocks

The tokenized stock business of Ondo is also growing thanks to Alpaca’s Instant Tokenization Network.

On September 21, Ondo revealed that approved financial institutions are able to tokenize existing stocks by converting them into Ondo Stocks on the network.

The procedure also provides another means through which qualified institutions can access the tokenized stock of Ondo without having to sell the shares they currently hold and then buy the tokenized stocks using the proceeds.

This innovation is a crucial component of Ondo Finance Tokenization, as it provides a link between traditional shares and tokenized forms of the same.

Ondo Stocks Expand Across NEAR and Multiple Chains

The state of Ondo has made an effort to increase its tokenized stocks through the NEAR network.

With the launch of Ondo Stocks on NEAR and NEAR Intents, users now have access to tokenized stocks and exchange-traded products using the cross-chain infrastructure platform that supports over 30 blockchain networks.

This is one of the ways in which Ondo has expanded the blockchain ecosystems in which its tokenized assets can be accessed.

Tokenized Asset Distribution on Ondo Finance Tokenization is increasingly becoming a crucial aspect of the plan since tokenized assets should be distributed through various blockchain networks and not confined to only one blockchain network.

Ondo Leads Tokenized Treasury Market

Ondo still plays an important role in the tokenized US Treasury securities space.

The RWA.xyz data shows that Ondo is the leader in tokenized Treasuries by TVL, having around $2.9 billion worth of tokenized Treasury securities.

This places Ondo on a firm footing as it ventures into other realms of tokenization of finance. With its Treasury products, Ondo Finance has already positioned itself in the real asset market. The addition of its stock and portfolio products enables it to increase its asset offerings.

The inclusion of the Treasury, stock, and portfolio products makes Ondo Finance Tokenization reach out to various traditional asset classes.

Ondo Connects With DTCC Fund Infrastructure

Expansion by Ondo is going deeper into the traditional financial infrastructure as well.

On September 16th, Ondo Finance’s affiliate company, Oasis Pro Markets, became the first tokenization to join the DTCC’s Fund/SERV platform. The Fund/SERV platform processes over 85% of U.S. mutual fund transactions, according to DTCC.

The connection provides Ondo with access to existing infrastructure that is being used by traditional funds’ participants. The DTCC connection opens up another possible distribution platform for the tokenized investment products.

DTCC connection is important to Ondo Finance Tokenization because it connects blockchain investment products to the existing financial market infrastructure.

Ondo Builds a Broader Tokenized Finance Platform

Ondo’s recent activities indicate the extension of the company’s approach to tokenization beyond one particular sphere of financial markets.

The firm has already engaged in tokenizing Treasuries, equities, multi-asset baskets, and institutional distribution infrastructure. Ondo’s cooperation with such partners as BlackRock, Alpaca, NEAR, and DTCC is contributing to the integration of Ondo’s offerings both in blockchain and traditional finance systems.

With the expansion of the types of assets and distribution channels that Ondo offers, Ondo Finance Tokenization evolves into a more general initiative of putting investment products on the blockchain.
