ONDO

Ondo Finance expanded Ondo Global Markets, adding over 200 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to the Solana blockchain. This launch gives Solana users access to Wall Street liquidity directly onchain, enabling traders to execute million-dollar orders with minimal slippage.

The expansion strengthens Solana’s position as a hub for internet capital markets, bridging traditional finance and blockchain technology.

Ondo Global Markets now offers not only cryptocurrency but various other asset classes, including tech/growth stocks, blue-chip stocks, and sector-specific ETFs for AI and electric vehicles. Commodity-based ETFs, including gold, silver, and other materials, are also available.

The total value locked at Ondo Global Markets is $460 million, with over $6.8 billion in total trading volume since inception, making it a market leader in the field of tokenized finance.

Ondo Expands Tokenized Equity Access for Solana Users

Ondo stands out in being a tokenized exchange because it combines the liquidity of large stock exchanges, such as NASDAQ and NYSE. In most other platforms, liquidity comes solely from on-chain liquidity pools. However, this does not scale well when dealing with several assets. In Ondo’s case, large orders can be filled at a price similar to what brokers charge.

“With the ability to connect to the liquidity of real-world markets, we now allow million-dollar trades with little to no slippage, which hasn’t been possible for Solana users before,” said a representative of Ondo Finance.

There were hundreds of assets available on the launch day, with thousands more to come, meaning Solana users will be able to easily trade both major and exotic stocks. It’s been observed that this could lead to the increased adoption of onchain tokenized securities.

Ondo Powers Solana with 200+ Tokenized Stocks & ETFs

Its high-performance blockchain has more than 3.2 million active users daily, allowing traders to efficiently find and make stock and ETF trades.

Ondo Finance’s integration is designed for easy navigation, even for high-volume trading. With its focus on making Solana’s blockchain accessible while incorporating real-world liquidity, this expansion makes Solana a center for sophisticated financial apps and internet capital markets.

The space also contains emerging sectors and innovative ETFs, which give users the option to diversify in technology, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles, and commodities without having to leave the blockchain. This is meant to draw in institutional level traders and investors to the Solana space.
