Shiba Inu (SHIB) is consolidating within a tightening falling-wedge pattern as buyers defend the $0.0000049–$0.0000050 support zone. A breakout could open the path toward $0.0000058, while weakening MACD momentum highlights the risk of further consolidation or a breakdown.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) is consolidating within a tightening falling-wedge pattern as buyers defend support and selling pressure weakens. A breakout above resistance could revive bullish momentum and push the token higher, while weakening MACD signals caution. Holding support remains crucial, as a breakdown could trigger renewed downside pressure and deeper losses.

At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.000005055 with a 24-hour trading volume of $79.29 million and a market capitalization of $2.97 billion. Despite the 2.33% loss, the SHIB price structure and technical indicators point to a bullish reversal ahead.

However, the crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal pointed out that SHIB is consolidating within a falling wedge after its recent breakout, with buyers defending the crucial $0.0000049–$0.0000050 support zone.

The tightening structure suggests selling pressure may be weakening as SHIB holds near its recent lows. A sustained defense of this region could provide bulls with a foundation for the next directional move.

Focus is now shifting to the upper resistance on the wedge, where a decisive breakout may favor the bullish setup and drive SHIB towards $0.0000058.

Increasing volume while breaking out would serve as an indicator of increased buying momentum. On the other hand, a move below the support of $0.0000049-$0.0000050 will make the outlook bearish.

Technical Indicators Point to Cautious Optimism

According to TradingView, the SHIB daily chart indicates that there is a pullback after the sharp rise at the end of August.

The price action has returned to the Bollinger Bands’ middle level, showing uncertainty in the short term. The upper level of the bands serves as an immediate resistance level, whereas the middle level of the bands acts as support.

On the other hand, the MACD is pointing to deteriorating momentum because the MACD line has turned downwards and the histogram has gone below zero.

It means that the buying pressure has weakened, and a consolidation or retracement may be on the cards for SHIB. A move back towards the upper Bollinger Band will help restore bullish momentum.

What Comes Next for SHIB?

The future move of SHIB will depend on how much buyers support the price at the support level between $0.0000049 and $0.0000050 and manage to break above the resistance of the falling wedge pattern.

The breakout could see the price move up to $0.0000058, but more strength from volume would be needed.
