The tour kicked off last week in Kyoto. Kusama, known for his mysterious persona, attended the event in a mask. He mingled with crypto enthusiasts and even met Japanese politician Ippei Kumagai. Kusama’s presence added a flair of excitement to the event, marking a strong start for the global tour.
Kusama announced plans to visit the bustling Indian city, Mumbai, calling it his “second home.” He expressed his eagerness to reconnect with the vibrant Indian crypto community. “See you soon!” he said, hinting at important meetings on the horizon.
The tour then heads to Canada for the Blockchain Futuristic Conference (BFC) in Toronto on August 13-14. Shiba Inu is a title sponsor of this event, and they will showcase their projects at a dedicated booth. In a significant reveal, Kusama announced that the final stop for the year will be in Bangkok, Thailand. Here, SHIB will launch its own conference, SHIBACON, slated to coincide with DevCon in Bucharest, Romania, on November 6-7. While DevCon takes place in Bucharest, SHIBACON will unfold in Bangkok, creating a unique platform for the Shiba Inu community and industry leaders to network.
Kusama emphasized that SHIBACON 2024 will stand out from other crypto conferences. He promised unique discussions, presentations, and networking opportunities. The event aims to foster a deeper connection within the community and bring forward innovative ideas.
