Shiba Inu support continues to gain momentum in Japan as major cryptocurrency exchange Rakuten Wallet deepens its engagement with the popular meme-inspired token.
Rakuten Wallet first added Shiba Inu (SHIB) to its lineup in April, a move that drew significant attention from the crypto community. Since then, the exchange has continued to promote the asset through campaigns, educational content, and community-focused initiatives.
The latest effort highlights Rakuten Wallet’s intention to build stronger ties with SHIB holders while introducing the token to a broader audience.

Shiba Inu Support Strengthened Through Educational Content
In a recent announcement on X, Rakuten Wallet revealed plans to launch dedicated content focused on SHIB. The company is preparing a special video titled “Understanding SHIB,” which will be presented by Senior Analyst Matsuda.

The exchange added a lighthearted touch to the campaign by sharing an image of Matsuda interacting with a Shiba Inu dog. According to Rakuten Wallet, the analyst is “working hard to get friendly with Shiba-san first” before filming begins.
The educational initiative reflects growing Shiba Inu support from the exchange. By creating content specifically for SHIB, Rakuten Wallet is helping users better understand the token and its ecosystem.
Shiba Inu Support Reaches Millions of Users
Rakuten Wallet has also launched several promotional campaigns to encourage participation from the SHIB community.
One of the most notable is the “Photo Contest 2026.” The campaign invites users to post dog photos on X for a chance to win SHIB or Dogecoin rewards. Eleven winners will each receive 11,111,111 SHIB, valued at roughly 10,000 yen.
In addition, traders who purchase more than 30,000 yen worth of spot crypto assets can receive 500,000 SHIB. Those trading over 100,000 yen can earn an extra 1,000,000 SHIB.
The significance of these efforts extends beyond giveaways. Rakuten Wallet belongs to the Rakuten Group, one of Japan’s leading internet and payments companies. Through Rakuten’s ecosystem, Shiba Inu now has access to more than 5 million merchant locations and a user base of 44 million active Rakuten Pay customers.
As a result, Shiba Inu support is reaching a scale few crypto platforms can match, giving SHIB greater visibility and potential adoption across Japan.
