Shiba Inu’s Treat Token NOT Launched: Beware of Deceptive Tactics

April 25, 2024 by Lipika Deka

Dispelling all rumors, the Shiba Inu team has confirmed that one of its upcoming ecosystem tokens, Treat, has not been launched. Amidst upcoming developments, deceptive campaigns circulate, falsely announcing the “stealth launch” of the TREAT tokens. These misleading tactics not only generate unwarranted excitement but also spread scams and misinformation about the tokens. It is therefore advised to conduct thorough research and check the source of this information.

Just a day before, the Shiba Inu team secured a $12 million deal for their latest project, a Fully Homomorphic Encryption [FHE] blockchain powered by the TREAT token. The investment round was led by prominent venture capitalist Cypher Capital. Other investors include Polygon Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Big Brain Holdings, and Shima Capital.

As earlier reported by TronWeekly, FHE is a privacy tool that enables developers to process data on untrusted domains without decrypting it. The FHE integration is therefore designed to significantly enhance the privacy and security of online interactions across the SHIB domain.

Today’s a HUGE day for us, SHIBARMY! We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve secured a monumental $12 million from strategic VC partners led by @cypher_capital to unleash our next-gen Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) blockchain via $TREAT — the final non-stable token in the Shiba Inu ecosystem! Let’s introduce our partners and dive into what this means for our community and the future of crypto

According to Shiba Inu, the TREAT token serves as the “utility and governance token” of its new privacy-focused Layer 3 blockchain, which is being built on Shibarium, its Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain.

Meanwhile, the top crypto hardware wallet provider, Tangem, has broadened its payment choices to now include SHIB. This move follows a year of launching a dedicated wallet for Shiba Inu. Tangem emphasized that adding crypto payment options is in line with its commitment to improving security and convenience for its worldwide crypto users. It is important to mention that Tangem now accepts Shiba Inu payments on both the Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain (BSC) networks.
