According to a tweet by LADs Shiba Sequoia Forest, a celebration for Shiba Inu enthusiasts will take place in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. ShibaFest, a seven-day event, will take place sometime in 2023. The team, however, did not offer a specific time for the same.
The Shiba Inu community has captured the attention of the Muskegon Heights city council. Andrew Prater’s efforts are credited with piquing the council’s interest. Prater is committed to preserving both big sequoia trees and the Shib Army.
Aside from that, the city council is debating whether it should be legal to take Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies as payment. The city also intends to obtain discounts on specific goods using specific LAD NFTs.
Shiba Inu to set its mark in Michigan
Shiba Inu (SHIB), according to Prater, is intended to become Muskegon Heights’ official cryptocurrency. The concept of creating a Shiba City is already being realized by a number of businesses. Prater added that a Shiba Inu store would be there and that it will be huge.
A city-owned property auction is also scheduled to happen at the end of the month. Shiba Sequoia Forest will have access to whatever is left over from that auction. They want to find the areas with the greatest concentration of valuable trees, and they want to buy such areas for Shiba Sequoia Forest parks and gardens.
Additionally, the squad does a lot of charitable work. Two different hospital networks are receiving help from LADS to meet their carbon offset goals. Additionally, these programs offer meals to the homeless and those in need.
SHIB has had a busy year, announcing a number of initiatives and projects that will start later this year. SHIB was trading at $0.00001483 at the time of publication, down 6.2% over the previous day.
