Solana is expanding its stablecoin payment reach as Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay prepare to support USDC cross-border transfers on Solana. The integration will initially target U.S. Galaxy users, while SOL remains under technical pressure after losing key support and faces resistance before a potential recovery.

Solana is expanding its stablecoin payment reach through a new integration with Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay. The partnership will allow eligible U.S. Galaxy users to send cross-border payments using USDC on Solana directly through Samsung Wallet from the last week of October 2026. The rollout will initially reach 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices. The development strengthens Solana’s mainstream payments push while the SOL price trades below the $116 support level, keeping its short-term market structure under pressure.

Samsung Brings Solana USDC Transfers to Galaxy Users

Samsung and the Solana Foundation are bringing stablecoin payments directly into the Samsung Wallet experience. U.S. Galaxy users will be able to send cross-border remittances using USDC on Solana beginning in the last week of October 2026.

The feature will operate within Samsung Wallet rather than requiring a separate crypto application. Users can access the service through an interface already used for cards, boarding passes, and IDs. Integrated fiat on- and off-ramps will support conversions between USDC and local currencies.

The initial rollout covers 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices, with additional markets expected to follow subject to local regulatory requirements. The integration gives Solana access to Samsung’s large consumer ecosystem while making blockchain-based transfers less dependent on traditional crypto applications.

Solana Stablecoin Activity Strengthens Payments Narrative

The Samsung partnership comes as stablecoin activity on Solana continues to grow. According to the Solana Foundation, stablecoin supply on the network is up nearly 20% year over year, while Solana has processed more than $5.25 trillion in stablecoin volume during 2026.

Solana is also being used by big corporations for stablecoin purposes. Some such corporations include PayPal and Western Union, who are utilizing Solana’s technology platform.

The partnership between Samsung and Solana capitalizes on this trend through the merging of Solana’s technology with that of a consumer-friendly wallet. The Solana blockchain will be running mostly in the background, enabling users to send their funds without worrying about crypto infrastructure.

SOL Price Tests Support After Losing $116

The basic growth occurs amid short-term technical pressure on SOL. The coin is currently being traded in the range of $111-$112 after breaking below the $116 support mark pointed out by crypto analyst Sjuul.

The breakdown has positioned the token within a weaker local formation. It will now be interesting to see if buyers will manage to regain lost support or if the downward pressure pushes SOL towards further lows.

Thus, the area of $116 has become significant in the near-term setting. A move higher than this level may indicate the attempts to stabilize, while its violation will continue to highlight the bearish scenarios.

SOL price prediction

The crypto analyst known as Sjuul has stated that SOL is “a bit in trouble locally” due to a breach below $116. In the opinion of the analyst, SOL bulls will have to move it above $125 for improvement.

In case buyers cannot manage to regain that level, there is an expectation from Sjuul for a further pullback to $106. It is important to note that this expectation is subject to how the prices move going forward.

The levels to watch out for are, therefore, $125 in case of a recovery and $106, which is where prices can head down to.

What Comes Next for SOL?

The next important catalyst will be the release of the Samsung Wallet toward the end of October. The release of this product among 82 million Galaxy phones in the United States can be a great channel to help Solana move mainstream USDC payments.

With respect to the SOL token, traders will continue to watch the $116 support level, followed by $125 resistance on the upside and $106 support on the downside. Other than this, the overall catalyst here would be the success of the Samsung integration.
