Solana Price Eyes $500 After Bullish Breakout as Network Activity Accelerates

Solana is showing renewed bullish momentum after breaking out from a long-term Cup and Handle pattern, with analyst JAVON MARKS pointing to a potential $500-plus target. Rising tokenized equity activity and strong x402 transaction volume further highlight growing network usage as traders monitor whether SOL can sustain its breakout.

The Solana (SOL) price sees an upward trend following the breakout from the Cup & Handle formation, indicating strength in overall market structure. The rise in tokenized equity trades and adoption of the x402 transaction protocol adds to the rising utility of the network, as traders pay attention if the break is maintained.

Solana Price Breakout Strengthens Bullish Structure

Solana (SOL) has returned to bullish action with a breakout above the Cup and Handle formation in the long-term timeframe, states JAVON MARKS.

Marks noted that SOL keeps making bullish moves post-breakout, with the pattern having an upside target of more than $500. It will be a large move from the present levels.

SOL was mostly consolidating within an extended consolidation channel from around $70 to $82 during July and the first half of August.

The price of SOL was near major moving averages, indicating the presence of both buyers and sellers, although the token ultimately broke through the resistance level amid increasing demand.

The break was greatly enhanced by the rise in buying activity during the last week of August as the cryptocurrency made a clear breakout from the prior range formation.

The Solana price then climbed to a local peak of $119.43 before declining towards $118.10. This development was a major deviation from the earlier price movement pattern for Solana.

Technical Indicators Support $500 Recovery

Technical analysis by TradingView suggests that there is also strong evidence for an increase in momentum. On the daily chart, exponential moving averages form a bullish formation, where the 20 EMA level is at around $105.59.

The fact that SOL remains above this level may be very important for the breakout formation in case of consolidation in the short term.

Bollinger bands have similarly grown much larger because of rising volatility after the breakout. SOL is currently near the upper Bollinger band at the price level of $117.08, indicating buying interest in the coin.

It is important to note that nearness to the upper Bollinger band does not necessarily signal a period of breakout.

The target above $500 for JAVON MARKS’ predicted price is the long-term effect of the Cup and Handle pattern and not necessarily what the price will reach.

For the bullish pattern to hold, SOL has to maintain the breakout pattern and keep forming higher levels of support. If this fails, it might lead to a retracement pattern.

Solana Tokenized Equities Share Climbs

Besides price movements, Solana has also been witnessing progress within its ecosystem. According to SolanaFloor, the network’s portion of tokenized equity trading volume has surged to 35%, the highest in two months.

The number brings Solana much closer to Robinhood’s portion of 39%, which Solana was lagging behind during July.

This uptick implies that tokenized equity transactions on Solana have gained traction once again as the network fights to gain a greater share of blockchain representations of traditional financial instruments.

Even though this indicator does not influence the price of SOL directly, it may give further insight into network utilization and the growth of the ecosystem.

Solana Dominates x402 Transaction Activity

There is also a lot of activity happening at Solana via the x402 payments ecosystem. According to Solana, 76% of all x402 transactions are processed by the Solana network, totaling 23.2 million transactions within four weeks. The second-biggest network had about 3.39 million transactions within the same period.

These numbers serve to underscore the rising importance of Solana within blockchain payment networks, providing another metric for the ecosystem beyond tokenized-equity growth.

For SOL investors, the continuous use of the network can serve as yet another fundamental factor for determining if the recent breakout will continue as a trend.

What Comes Next for the Solana Price?

Solana’s present technical configuration includes a big technical breakthrough along with rising activity in tokenized stocks and x402 trades.

The $500+ forecast provided by JAVON MARKS is the upper limit that corresponds to the Cup and Handle pattern found, while the immediate attention will be paid to the ability of the SOL to hold its breakthrough technically.
