Strategy Bitcoin Wallet Transfers $66M in BTC While Holdings Stay Unchanged

Strategy Bitcoin holdings remain unchanged despite another large wallet movement involving Michael Saylor’s company. The transaction occurred around two hours ago and adds to a series of recent treasury-related Bitcoin movements involving the company’s wallets.

Bitcoin is currently trading at $64,104, rising 0.37% over the last 24 hours, with a daily trading volume of $35.08 billion, a market cap of $1.29 trillion, and a market dominance of 58.72%, according to CoinGecko.

The latest transfer follows recent balance sheet changes disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Between July 28 and Aug. 2, the company sold 1,638 BTC, earning $104.73 million in net proceeds. After selling, Strategy’s holdings of BTC fell to 842,138 BTC purchased for $63.51 billion at an average cost of $75,419 per Bitcoin.

Strategy Strengthens Liquidity While Adjusting Bitcoin Treasury

In addition to selling Bitcoin, Strategy earned $290.6 million by offering 3.01 million Class A common shares under its at-the-market equity program. This allowed the company to raise $250 million for its U.S. dollar reserve, increasing its total cash holdings to nearly $4 billion. Also, Strategy repurchased 912,143 shares of STRC perpetual preferred stock for about $81.2 million when the shares traded below the $100 liquidation preference.

According to a recent post by Lookonchain, the newly transferred 1,030 BTC has not been connected to any confirmed sale. Neither Strategy nor Michael Saylor made any public statement on the reasons behind the deal. Such transactions of corporations with Bitcoin usually represent changes in custody, treasury management, collateral movements, or internal restructuring instead of liquidation.

Strategy Bitcoin Transfer Sparks Investor Interest

Strategy Bitcoin wallets’ movements continue drawing interest due to the fact that Strategy Bitcoin is one of the biggest holders of Bitcoins in the world. Market players and blockchain analysis professionals pay attention to transactions of the company, as some treasury operations of the company were affecting the overall market mood in the past. Even though 1,030 BTC is a small part of the company’s treasury, the transaction demonstrates how attentive people are to institutional Bitcoin treasury management.

At the same time, MARA Holdings, a Bitcoin mining company, sent 6,000 BTC ($384.6 million) to TwoPrime during the last five hours. According to the analyst report, the transaction does not mean any sale and can be related to treasury optimization, custodial changes, or institutional asset management. In the absence of any information about sales of the strategy Bitcoin or liquidation of Bitcoin from MARA Holdings, market participants should wait for future reports and on-chain analysis of the company’s treasuries.
