VIRTUAL Price Could Surge to $4 if This Breakout Level Is Reclaimed

VIRTUAL price remains under pressure despite a modest daily gain, with analysts pointing to a long-term triangle pattern that could signal a major breakout. While technical indicators remain mixed, traders are watching key resistance and momentum levels for confirmation of a potential recovery.

VIRTUAL price continued to trade lower even after recording a modest rise on August 5, because it was approaching an important technical zone that might indicate the next big movement. It is noteworthy that the VIRTUAL price is trading around 90% lower than its previous high, but analysts believe this pattern may lead to a more pronounced recovery.

At the time of writing, VIRTUAL is trading at $0.5600, up 0.65% over the last 24 hours. The token recorded $33.61 million in daily trading volume and held a market capitalization of $367.81 million, showing that market interest remains steady despite the prolonged correction.

VIRTUAL Price Builds Strong Breakout Pattern

On August 5, 2026, a crypto analyst, Crypto Patel, provided a higher time frame analysis suggesting that the current price correction fails to account for the potential formed on the chart.

Patel claims that the Virtuals Protocol has been building up a large triangle formation for several months, which is a typical sign of a major breakout.

He noted that there are various technical indicators backing up his view on the matter. First of all, the coin is showing a multi-month triangle formation along with strong demand conditions. In addition, the volatility indicator is steadily falling, approaching an important breakout point for the higher-time-frame chart.

For Patel, the $0.50 to $0.30 level is one of the best accumulation levels where conviction plays a key role in long-term investments.

For him, a move above the $1.01 level will be a clear breakout move towards the $4+ territory in the future.

It is also worth mentioning that the opinion of the expert is formed only on the basis of technical analysis and risk management.

VIRTUAL Price Recovery Awaits Bullish Confirmation

Despite all that has been stated concerning the long-term positioning, the short-term indicators show that the buyers have not become strong enough for the trend reversal yet.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is now 45.54, but the signal line is only 45.28. As can be seen from the numbers, the indicator is still under the neutral 50 mark, which means that there is no significant buying pressure.

Even the MACD (12, 26, 9) is still operating on the bearish side of things. The MACD line is at -0.00943 and is lower than the signal line, which is at -0.00582. Also, the histogram is negative at -0.00361.

This is a good sign because as the negative histogram is becoming smaller, it means that the selling pressure is becoming smaller as well.

What Happens Next for VIRTUAL Price

The coming period might prove significant for VIRTUAL price as investors will be paying attention to whether the coin is able to retain its important support area, take the RSI above the 50 level, and make an upward MACD cross.

In addition to that, market conditions in the whole cryptocurrency industry might have a role in determining the direction the token will take. A rising market for Bitcoin and altcoins can facilitate a return in favor of artificial intelligence crypto coins. For now, VIRTUAL price is consolidating, waiting for a potential breakthrough.
