Whales Move Over 4900 BTCs While Identity Still a Secret

Bitcoin, which is currently holding the most significant market capitalizations and valuing at $10165 against USD, is being transferred from an unknown wallet. There were 4923 BTCs, worth around USD 50,127,850 moved between two anonymous wallets today, on Sept 20 at 07:09:31 UTC. The massive amount of BTC transactions occurred between 1H2zrVQxU3ymunr9CunjoActooLW2ryQK7 and 1E9XrWmGoX6iJrxqgr9qMicsgxouDqaSXL bitcoin wallets.

As per the blockchain explorer, the transaction carries fees of 0.0000384 BTC with a total of 31 confirmations.

Interestingly, Bitcoin is currently surging by 2.17 percent within the past 24 hours. The world’s largest cryptocurrency is trading at the value $10165 against USD, capturing the market capitalization of $182,439,634,732.

It’s worth reminding that the whales in the crypto industry aren’t new – they’re still surfing and exists. Besides this, the earlier analysis mentioned that around 94504 BTC, which was worth $1Billion caught transferred between two unknown wallets.

Surprisingly, that whale moved $700 in Bitcoin as network fees. Moreover, those transactions took place during the time of Bakkt’s announcement of starting its operation – and the community was quite skeptical on Bakkt behind the massive movement of BTCs. The analysis by Glass Node further finds the relation of Huobi Global exchange with that move and stated;

Our data confirm this was the largest non-exchange entity cluster, consisting of dozens of bitcoin addresses, with a peak balance of 124,178 $BTC that were accumulated in late 2016. According to our flags at least 73K, $BTC of this whale’s balance originate from HuobiGlobal .

The identity of the parties behind both the transactions is still a mystery, but the latter bagged a fifth-most luxurious bitcoin wallet on the market. As for now, 4923 BTCs that got moved between two unknown wallets today are still a curious aspect in the crypto market, particularly when the value of bitcoin is gently rising.
