Famous cryptocurrency analyst, The Great Mattsby, has predicted that the price of Ripple’s XRP may soar to $250 by 2028. This forecast is based on historical analysis, technical analysis, and even symmetry, which shows that the future breakout would be massive.
Mattsby starts his analysis with the Bollinger Bands on the Monthly Chart to clearly depict that the bands are the tightest they have ever been for XRP. Generally, when the bands are this squeezed together, a large price move is anticipated. He points to two previous instances: Such as the period of September 2016 to March 2017, when the price of XRP rose by approximately 50,000-60,000%, and another period with a 1000% rise in price. This current one is even tighter than the previous ones, meaning that a more severe outbreak may be in the offing.
XRP Poised For Major Breakout?
This prediction is further boosted by the extended period of consolidation that coin has been in. Since the all-time high to the current price it has taken 2,373 days. According to Mattsby, that is an extended period of consolidation together with the tight Bollinger Bands, points to a huge price action.
According to Mattsby, while comparing with other major cryptocurrencies, the Bollinger Bands of Bitcoin and Ethereum are not as tight as the ones of XRP. This puts the Ripple coin in a very good place for a large move higher in his view.
Mattsby also employs Gann’s Square of Nine on logarithmic scale to substantiate his forecast.
