YZi Labs Leads $52 Million Funding Round in RoboForce to Expand Physical AI

YZi Labs announced a $52 million funding round for RoboForce, a Silicon Valley-based AI robotics firm, following early discussions between both teams. The investment reflects alignment on industrial automation needs, with leadership from YZi Labs joining RoboForce’s board to support strategic expansion and operational scaling efforts globally.

RoboForce, featured by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang during GTC Washington in October 2025, is currently deploying its TITAN robots to address labor gaps within the energy, manufacturing, logistics, and AI infrastructure sectors.

NVIDIA-Powered Platform Enables Scalable Deployment

RoboForce is a robotics company founded in 2023, specializing in creating robots that can carry out tasks that were traditionally done by humans. Its robots have a “physical AI stack” that brings together robotic devices, machine learning, and simulation tools to enable robots to function effectively even in harsh environments.

Co-founder Leo Ma referred to the labor gap as “the gap between industrial growth and human availability.” The need for the incorporation of robots in the world is exemplified by the challenges faced in the 53-gigawatt US solar project in 2024, where the project faced delays due to labor shortages.

The RoboForce platform is built on NVIDIA Jetson Thor processors, Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, and Cosmos. These tools enable the development of a robust and efficient platform for the deployment of edge AI, simulation, and synthetic data generation.

YZi Labs Leads $67 Million RoboForce Round

The round was joined by prominent investors, including Jerry Yang, Nobel Laureate Myron Scholes, Gary Rieschel, and Carnegie Mellon University, bringing RoboForce’s total funding to $67 million. The company has received letters of intent for over 11,000 robots. This is a shift from pilot programs to production-level robots. Huang stated, “AI is transforming the world’s factories into intelligent thinking machines, the engines of a new industrial revolution.”

The RoboForce initiative is an exemplary case of the incorporation of AI and robotics in the world of industry. The initiative provides a safe and efficient solution while addressing the labor shortage. The leadership of the funding round by YZi Labs is a testament to the company’s commitment to the development of Physical AI.
