In a decisive move shaking up the meme coin market, Zypto App has officially launched support for both Shibarium and ShibaSwap in its latest update, version 1.15. This milestone, revealed in a tweet on April 29, marks the first time a decentralized finance wallet has combined access to these two crucial parts of the Shiba Inu ecosystem under one roof.
The new integration allows users of the mobile app—available on Android and Apple devices—to interact directly with ShibaSwap, the Shiba Inu decentralized exchange. The platform enables swaps between native tokens such as SHIB, LEASH, and BONE, as well as a broad selection of ERC-20 tokens, including Ethereum, Chainlink, Aave, and select stablecoins.
This fusion within the Zypto App includes full access to Shibarium, the layer 2 network developed by the Shiba Inu team. Launched in August 2023, Shibarium builds on Ethereum’s mainnet to provide faster transaction speeds and significantly reduced gas fees. Zypto users can now benefit from these improvements directly within their self-custody wallet.
Strengthening Control with Enhanced Security
The app now supports storage and management of Shibarium-native assets, such as SHIB, BONE, LEASH, and the newer addition, TREAT. This allows Shiba Inu token holders to retain full control over their assets while navigating a unified and user-friendly interface.
A major part of this rollout is Zypto’s new Vault Key Card. Developed using NYC technology and protected by three-factor authentication, the card provides cold storage-grade security. This enhancement gives users peace of mind by protecting their digital assets far beyond the conventional standards of mobile wallets.
According to Zypto Crypto, the company behind the application, no other DeFi wallet currently offers this level of integration for ShibaSwap and Shibarium. Their announcement underscores the platform’s ambition to lead innovation within the Shiba Inu ecosystem, offering a streamlined and secure environment for its growing user base.
Applause from the Shiba Inu Community
The rollout has been warmly received by the Shiba Inu community. The official X (formerly Twitter) account of the ecosystem acknowledged Zypto’s efforts and praised the ease of access it brings to users. This positive reaction signals increasing support for platforms that prioritize user convenience and secure functionality.
The update arrives amid broader industry momentum following the launch of Shibarium. Other platforms have gradually begun to support the network. Gate.io was among the earliest to adopt it, adding compatibility in January 2024. More recently, MEXC joined in February 2025, expanding Shibarium’s reach even further.
Yet, Zypto distinguishes itself by being the first to unify both ShibaSwap and Shibarium in a single app experience. This positions the wallet as a frontrunner in the effort to simplify user engagement with decentralized financial tools tied to the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
