Aptos recorded its highest monthly network activity since August 2024, processing 389.36 million transactions in July 2026. The milestone reflects growing blockchain adoption, ongoing infrastructure upgrades, and stronger developer engagement as Aptos competes with leading Layer-1 networks like Solana, Sui, and Ethereum.

Aptos posted its strongest monthly network activity since August 2024, processing 389.36 million transactions during July 2026. According to blockchain validator Everstake, the milestone underscores accelerating adoption on the Layer-1 blockchain as developers continue deploying infrastructure upgrades and expanding decentralized applications.

The latest figures suggest APT is regaining momentum in an increasingly competitive blockchain market dominated by networks such as Solana, Sui, and Ethereum.

Aptos Processes 389 Million Transactions During July 2026

According to Everstake, Aptos processed 389.36 million transactions in July 2026, making it the network’s busiest month in nearly two years.

The figures were based on network activity data published by The Block and shared by Everstake. The performance surpassed every monthly total since August 2024, reflecting sustained growth in user engagement.

The increase is significant because transaction volume is one of the clearest indicators of blockchain usage. Unlike price movements, higher transaction counts generally point to greater application activity, user participation, and on-chain demand.

For developers and investors, rising throughput suggests that network infrastructure is supporting broader ecosystem adoption rather than relying solely on speculative trading.

Infrastructure Upgrades Continue Supporting Network Growth

Everstake attributed the growth to continued development by Aptos Labs, stating that the team has consistently delivered protocol improvements and ecosystem expansion. In its post, Everstake noted: “Behind these numbers is a huge amount of work. The Aptos team has kept shipping upgrades, improving the infrastructure, and expanding the ecosystem.

Aptos was designed around the Move programming language, parallel transaction execution, and high throughput to support enterprise and consumer-scale applications.

These technical capabilities have attracted developers building decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, payment, and tokenization projects. As more applications launch, transaction activity naturally increases, creating stronger network effects across the ecosystem.

Growing Activity Reflects Layer-1 Blockchain Competition

The Layer-1 blockchain sector has become increasingly competitive, with projects racing to attract users, liquidity, and developers. Networks such as Solana, Sui, and Avalanche have also reported ecosystem growth throughout 2026, making sustained user activity an important competitive metric beyond token price performance.

For Aptos, strong transaction growth may strengthen its position when attracting new developers and institutional partners. Businesses evaluating blockchain infrastructure often consider stability, scalability, and real-world usage before deploying applications. Consistent increases in network activity provide measurable evidence that the blockchain is handling greater operational demand.

Although transaction growth does not automatically translate into higher token prices, it often signals improving network fundamentals. Investors typically monitor active addresses, decentralized application usage, total value locked, and transaction counts together to assess long-term blockchain adoption.

Looking ahead, APTs’ ability to maintain elevated transaction levels will depend on continued developer activity, ecosystem incentives, and broader cryptocurrency market conditions. If application growth continues alongside infrastructure improvements, the network could further strengthen its standing among high-performance Layer-1 blockchains.
