Bitget Aids Global Expansion By Registering In Seychelles & Double Workforce By 2023

By Mishal Ali | Edited By Saeed Ul Hassan,November 22, 2022, 10:51 PM

Bitget

The world’s leading cryptocurrency trading platform, Bitget, has registered in Seychelles – its latest step towards expanding globally and establishing more regional offices, according to the press release published by Cision PRNewswire on November 22.

The exchange also announced a new goal of 12,000 total employees by Q1 2023 – 50% more than its current size – which will allow for greater customer service coverage and business growth as well.

With this new registration, Bitget has set up many regional hubs, including those in Asia and Latin America, to increase its international presence even further by opening up other locations in parts of Europe and Africa.

According to the press release, the exchange has made significant efforts to win back user trust. They recently established a Builders’ Fund of $5 million as well as increased Protection Funds to $300 million.

Despite these tumultuous times, they are continuing with their recruitment plan; there is no sign yet that this will slow them down. Additionally, the exchange pledged this summer that it would quadruple its number of employees from 400 to 1000 by the end of 2022.

By 2023, they hope to employ at least 1200 people so that they can meet increasing customer demands and expand their company faster. However, the company has so far increased from having 450 employees in June 2022 to over 800 at this time, an astonishing 78% rise in just four months.

Moreover, the company is also looking for talented engineers who can develop excellent products alongside marketing and branding teams who can provide all traders with the best social trading experience possible.

Bitget Sees Seychelles As A Friendly Region

Managing Director of Bitget, Gracy Chen, said:

We see Seychelles as a friendly region for the crypto community. We have been working for several months on this registration and are happy to announce the development now.

He added that the registration in Seychelles provides a constructive environment for Bitget, enabling them to expand globally with various partnerships and agreements, “such as the Argentine football legend Lionel Messi and the Italian football club Juventus.”

The company’s worldwide presence fully supports the Web3 concept, enabling the team to function decentralized without a central office. Because they are so intent on expanding and growing, they think that by doing this, they can attract talent from around the world.

In his opinion, it is essential for the company to hire top talent internationally and establish regional hubs to facilitate local coordination and communication in key regions.

Gracy adds:

we will continue to hire despite current market sentiment. Capable and suitable talent will help Bitget build a safe and reliable platform, which will gain stronger traction among users in the fiercely competitive industry and eventually lead to a more trustworthy and robust environment that better serves the community.
