Bittensor (TAO) is holding key support near $200 as buyers defend its long-term structure and keep a potential recovery in focus. Its expansion to Base through Chainlink CCIP also strengthens cross-chain connectivity, potentially increasing access to DeFi liquidity and supporting the broader growth of onchain AI applications.

Bittensor (TAO) continues to hold key support as buyers defend its long-term structure, keeping a potential recovery in focus. Meanwhile, Bittensor’s expansion to Base through Chainlink CCIP strengthens cross-chain connectivity, bringing decentralized AI closer to DeFi users and accelerating the broader onchain AI narrative.

At the time of writing, TAO is trading at $232.32 with a 24-hour trading volume of $217.92 million and a market capitalization of $2.61 billion. Following the 5.78% gain over the last 24 hours, the TAO price structure and network growth point to a bullish reversal ahead.

TAO Price Targets $1,500 as Support Holds

According to the crypto analyst etherealist, TAO continues to defend its long-term support structure, with the $200 zone repeatedly attracting buyers despite prolonged periods of weak sentiment.

While the token often struggles to generate interest at these levels, a move toward $500 could shift market perception. A sustained breakout could then bring $1,000 into focus as momentum strengthens further.

When viewed more broadly, the whole situation becomes asymmetric in terms of risk-to-reward ratio, assuming that the support structure holds up.

The break above the resistance zone will pave the way to the price target of $1,500, although for that to happen, there should be demand in the market. For the investor, the most difficult thing would probably be holding on to the conviction.

The data from ForeverMoney further highlighted that Bittensor has grown its decentralized AI network to include Base, bringing together AI infrastructure with a rapidly growing Layer-2 network in the crypto space.

This integration will allow the features offered by Bittensor, such as compute, code, vision, and prediction, to be brought close to the user base, liquidity of DeFi, and trading infrastructure provided by Base.

The Chainlink CCIP is the connection between Bittensor and Base that allows safe cross-chain communication and transactions to happen.

It is noteworthy that the collaboration shows how blockchain interoperability, artificial intelligence, and DeFi start converging with one another. As Bittensor continues moving into other ecosystems, the collaboration could help speed up development of onchain AI use cases.

What Happens Next?

TAO should maintain support at $200 and breach several resistances to maintain its positive sentiment. If TAO can break above $500, the upward momentum might reach as high as $1,000 and even $1,500.

However, increasing Base integration and Chainlink CCIP connectivity might boost network adoption, while falling below $200 might negate the reversal pattern.
