Dogecoin is showing renewed bullish potential as a cup-and-handle pattern, improving MACD momentum, and record whale holdings strengthen the recovery narrative. Meanwhile, DOGE’s expansion into the Solana ecosystem could improve interoperability and accessibility, giving traders additional catalysts to watch as the price approaches the key $0.10 level.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is showing renewed bullish potential as technical signals point toward a possible breakout for the DOGE price. Whale accumulation and stronger market activity are supporting the recovery narrative, while Solana integration expands DOGE’s utility and accessibility. Traders are watching for sustained momentum and confirmation of the next major move.

At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.08988 with a 24-hour trading volume of $1.02 billion and a market capitalization of $15.41 billion. However, the DOGE price has remained stable over the last 24 hours.

Dogecoin Price Eyes $0.10 Cup-and-Handle Breakout

The crypto analyst Trader Tardigrade revealed that the DOGE price is flashing a potentially bullish signal on its 12-hour chart as a cup-and-handle pattern appears to be taking shape.

The rounded recovery suggests accumulation, while the tighter handle reflects consolidation beneath resistance. Declining volatility could set the stage for a breakout, with DOGE potentially targeting the key psychological $0.10 level if momentum strengthens.

However, confirmation remains critical before traders treat the setup as a genuine bullish reversal.

The DOGE price needs a decisive close above the handle trendline, supported by rising volume and sustained follow-through rather than a brief wick. If resistance continues to hold, the meme coin could remain range-bound and revisit nearby support before attempting another breakout.

DOGE Breaks Higher as MACD Signals Momentum

According to the TradingView chart analysis, the DOGE price chart clearly highlights a distinct shift from a flat consolidation to an active, volatile bullish cycle. During June and July, Dogecoin hovered quietly in a narrow range around $0.0680 to $0.0740 with minimal trading volume and very low momentum.

A sudden late-August price surge broke above the upper Bollinger Band, driving the asset up sharply to test $0.1000 before pulling back slightly.

It is clear that there is significant positive momentum in place, which is currently going through a period of consolidation.

Following the August breakout, there was a very strong crossover of the MACD moving above the zero line, with green histogram bars increasing in size. The price is currently sitting above its 20-period moving average of $0.0871.

Dogecoin Whale Holdings Reach $10 Billion

The crypto analyst dogegod also pointed out that the Dogecoin whale balance is said to have increased to record highs, hitting 108.52 billion DOGE, which is approximately equal to $10 billion.

The rise points to the increasing concentration in the large holder category and indicates that the significant players in the market still hold huge investments in the coin.

However, the balance of whales might turn out to be a crucial determinant of the future step by DOGE. Accumulation will decrease the supply of coins available on the market and create a positive sentiment.

Yet, the whales can belong to the exchanges, too. Thus, traders should pay attention to whale moves, exchange inflows, trading volume, and price dynamics.

DOGE Makes Its Move Into the Solana Ecosystem

The data from Sunrise further highlighted that Dogecoin (DOGE) has increased its footprint throughout the cryptocurrency universe due to the listing of the token on the Solana network by Sunrise.

The listing allows DOGE holders to have access to the fast blockchain technology of the Solana network, offering various possibilities other than the DOGE ecosystem.

This move will add weight to the interoperability story behind DOGE because traditional cryptos are becoming more interoperable with fast, application-driven blockchains.

The active DeFi ecosystem at Solana will increase Dogecoin’s visibility and help Dogecoin connect with new customers, while also indicating how there is now an increasing focus on making major cryptocurrencies interoperable with other blockchain networks.

What Happens Next?

The DOGE price’s next significant move depends entirely on the ability of the bulls to build momentum above the existing consolidation area.

A decisive breakout above the resistance level of the handle, accompanied by higher volume and MACD gains, could have DOGE in focus for its target price of $0.10. Other indicators include the performance of whales and the Solana network.
