Since its inception, Shibburn has been the sole third-party application consistently eliminating millions of Shiba Inu tokens on a daily basis. Through its initiatives, Shiba Inu’s Shibburn, effectively removes approximately 1.5 million tokens from circulation each day. Surprisingly, Elon Musk’s Twitter account unexpectedly suspended the Shibburn application, rendering the bot incapable of transmitting ‘burn’ information.
The app had been operational on Twitter since 2021, and the handle behind ShibBurn asserted that it had not violated any terms or policies. The suspension came as a complete surprise, as the ShibBurn handle had adhered to community guidelines without any issues.
“Our app has been active on Twitter for the past two years without any issues or violations of the platform’s rules. We have always strived to comply with Twitter’s guidelines and maintain a positive presence,” the tweet read.
Twitter has suspended the Shibburn app without providing a specific reason and has not yet addressed the claims made by the app. Nonetheless, Shibburn has clarified that its burn initiatives are functioning normally, with only the Twitter app that provides burn details being suspended.
Shiba Inu: Shibburn Offers Alternative Method to Monitor Token Burns
Due to the aforementioned issue, the Twitter bot is currently prohibited from sharing burn details. However, users can stay informed about the latest SHIB burn information by visiting the firm’s website. The third-party burn application tweeted, “At present, our bot is unable to post on Twitter. Nonetheless, users can find the latest SHIB burn information on our website. We are hopeful that this situation will be resolved soon.”
Recently, the tracker revealed that a substantial amount of 341 million SHIB tokens had been transferred to the dead wallet. The burn figures have witnessed a considerable increase this month, coinciding with a decline in the token’s price. As of now, Shiba Inu is being traded at $0.00000771, reflecting a 2.1% decrease in the past 24 hours. It has experienced a significant drop of 91.03% from its all-time high of $0.00008616, which was reached in October 2021.
