Ethereum is holding above a crucial support zone as traders assess whether buyers can sustain the recent recovery. At the same time, improving spot ETF inflows point to steady institutional interest, with market participants closely watching key resistance levels that could determine ETH’s next major price move.

Ethereum price remained steady as it traded above an important support level while investors watched for signs of its next major move.

Currently, Ethereum (ETH) is trading at $1,866.89, up 0.08% in the last 24 hours. Daily trading volume hit $15.72 billion, while the cryptocurrency has a market capitalization of $225.30 billion, giving Ethereum a 10.39% market share of the entire cryptocurrency sector.

Ethereum Price Defends Critical Support Zone

According to a recent post by analyst Crypto Patel, the next move for Ether will be determined by the cryptocurrency moving towards a certain critical area. In his opinion, a breakdown below the support level could drive the coin closer to $1,600, which makes the current support range vital.

In terms of the four-hour chart, Ethereum has been forming higher highs and higher lows. As such, the current pullback could be considered a natural corrective phase back into the $1,800-$1,850 range, where there could be more buying.

While Ethereum price can hold above this range, the outlook remains bullish. However, a breakdown below $1,800 could result in more sellers entering the market and increasing selling pressure.

Resistance Levels Could Decide Ethereum’s Next Rally

If buyers manage to find some momentum above the current support range, Ethereum price could test several resistance areas. The first resistance level stands at $1,925, while the second important resistance area starts at $1,980-$2,000.

The $2,000 level has both psychological and technical significance. Thus, a breakout above this area would mean that buyers have regained the initiative and could move further to $2,100, the next important level.

Unless any of the critical levels are broken, Ethereum is likely to trade sideways for now. Any breakdown above or below could mean that the next trend has started.

Ethereum ETF Inflows Point to Improving Institutional Interest

Beyond price action, institutional investment has also shown encouraging signs. Data shared by AskClash revealed that spot Ethereum ETFs recorded a net inflow of $9 million, extending the recent improvement in fund flows.

Bitwise’s ETHB led the day with $15.4 million in net inflows, while several other ETFs posted smaller outflows. Despite these mixed results, the 30-day cumulative ETF flow remains only slightly negative at $8 million, suggesting that institutional demand is becoming more stable.

ETF activity has become an important indicator for ETH because sustained inflows often reflect growing confidence from larger investors. If positive flows continue alongside strong technical support, Ethereum price could gain additional momentum in the weeks ahead.

For now, the market remains focused on two key levels. Holding above $1,800 could support another attempt toward $2,000 and $2,100, while losing that support may increase the risk of a decline toward $1,600. The next few trading sessions are expected to provide a clearer signal about Ether’s short-term direction.
