Injective (INJ) is showing signs of a potential bullish reversal as its chart develops a double-bottom structure. While short-term momentum remains weak, traders are watching the $9–$9.20 resistance zone for confirmation, with expanding real-world asset activity adding another catalyst to the broader Injective outlook.

Injective (INJ) is developing a potential double-bottom structure while short-term technical momentum remains weak. Injective’s expanding real-world asset activity provides a supportive ecosystem backdrop, but stronger buying momentum and resistance recovery are needed before the broader bullish reversal setup gains confirmation.

INJ Price Forms Potential Double-Bottom Structure

Injective (INJ) is attracting attention as its price structure develops a potential double-bottom formation. According to crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal, INJ is trading near $5.36 after establishing two significant lows around the $3–$3.5 region.

This structure suggests buyers may be attempting to establish a stronger base following an extended period of weakness.

The setup, however, remains incomplete because INJ must reclaim the $9.0–$9.2 resistance zone, which serves as the neckline of the formation.

A confirmed breakout above this area could strengthen the bullish reversal case, with the analyst’s chart projecting a potential move toward $16. Until confirmation arrives, the pattern remains developing rather than confirmed.

INJ Technicals Reveal Short-Term Pressure

While the broader chart structure has attracted bullish attention, INJ’s four-hour technical picture remains under pressure. TradingView data shows a strong expansion after consolidation around $4.80–$5.00 in early September.

The cryptocurrency climbed above $6.50 as Bollinger Bands widened, signaling increased volatility, before facing resistance near the upper band and weakening momentum.

INJ subsequently formed lower highs and moved below the middle moving average, currently positioned around $5.8386.

Currently, the token is trading near $5.3078, remaining close to the lower Bollinger Band at approximately $5.1372. This positioning suggests sellers maintain greater short-term control as the price continues testing lower levels.

RSI Indicator Points to Oversold Territory

Additionally, momentum oscillators show that buying power is diminishing; the RSI Divergence Oscillator is at 31.63, indicating that INJ is getting closer to the oversold area.

The bearish divergence that was previously generated by the TradingView indicator happened before the pullback since there was no momentum to match the rising price highs.

On the other hand, earlier signs of a bullish stance at $4.80 were points of accumulation. However, with the bearish RSI trendline still showing negative momentum, the lower Bollinger Band level of $5.1372 takes significance.

A successful defense of the level would result in a comeback for the cryptocurrency from being oversold, while its failure could lead to further declines.

Derivatives Activity Shows Reduced Participation

The information from market activities also supports speculation reduction. Data from CoinGlass shows that the trading volume of INJ dropped by 17.03% to $155.71 million while open interest declined by 9.13% to $109.60 million. The drop in both parameters indicates that participation in derivatives has slowed down along with the decline in prices.

But the fact that both volume and open interest have decreased is not the sole factor that will drive the price of INJ forward.

In the case of traders who are watching out for the double bottom formation, any increase in the value of both volume and open interest will be more convincing if the price starts moving.

Injective Expands Real-World Asset Markets

In addition to price movements, the movement of assets in the Injective ecosystem is another point of focus. According to the Injective network, $214.9 million of trading volume has occurred in real-world asset perpetuals over the past month.

Equities accounted for the largest portion with $127.3 million, while foreign exchange accounted for $49.0 million.

RWA growth on Injective

The contribution from commodities was $15.4 million; pre-IPO markets accounted for $15.3 million; and indices contributed $7.8 million.

Such a trend suggests increased involvement with tokenized forms of traditional markets on Injective. With the development of an RWA ecosystem on the network, these markets may continue to be relevant to the overall story of Injective.

However, for the price action of INJ, the first priority is still technical. Staying above the lower level of support may help bring some stability to the recent downward move, but a reversal towards the range of $9.0-$9.2 would make the neckline of the possible double bottom formation relevant again.
