Instead, this case points out the precise reason why shouldn’t one disclose his crypto holdings publicly.

As for the Norweigan bitcoin millionaire, he worked for almost a decade, and he reportedly owns over 100 million NOK equals to $11 million.

Reports mentioned about 51 similar crypto attacks that had happened in the past. The latest example comes from India. A 24-year-old individual from the state of India, Kerala was found murdered after his partners tortured and beaten him to gain access to cryptocurrency worth nearly $68 million.

Quick Tips

No matter how rich you become in the crypto industry, maintaining silence is the ultimate way to avoid such risks. This is true because the bitcoin can be easily accessible if hackers/robbers managed to get passcodes from the holders whereas, in the case of fiat holding, banks take care of your money on your behalf.

If at all, you’ve encountered such situations, you can either escape using all possible ways you could, or you can always have two different or multiple accounts wherein one account with some amount of BTC/tokens can be used to conciliate attackers.
