Shiba Inu Gains 1 More Superstar: John Cena’s Shocking Move

By Aishwarya shashikumar | Edited By Sahana Kiran,July 24, 2024, 3:00 AM

Shiba Inu

This weekend, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team had an exciting announcement. They shared the news on X, reacting to a post from their Telegram group admin, Xander Shib.

In his post, Xander encouraged SHIB fans to keep dreaming and never give up. He attached a gif of John Cena holding a banner with the words “Never Give Up.”

Shiba Inu’s X handle replied with a fun fact: John Cena follows them on social media. They humorously called him an honorary member of their community, adding a saluting face emoji.

John Cena is known for his salute gesture before every wrestling match. Dressed in camouflage shorts, he stands at attention and salutes. In a WWE interview, Cena said the gesture acknowledges his loyal fans. He also shows respect to the Armed Forces through this salute.

When celebrities follow a cryptocurrency on social media, it often seems like an endorsement. Although Cena’s follow may not be an official endorsement of SHIB, the cryptocurrency’s X handle gave him an honorary title due to his fame.

John Cena hasn’t tweeted about SHIB yet. A search of his X account showed no results related to the token.

Shiba Inu Community Reacts

The news of John Cena following Shiba Inu’s X handle sparked excitement in the community. Many want to know if Cena holds SHIB. Casey Stubbs, CEO of Trading Strategy Guides, was among those curious about Cena’s SHIB holdings.

As of now, it’s unclear if John Cena engages with Shiba Inu beyond following it on X. However, this could be seen as a positive nod to the cryptocurrency, potentially boosting its image.

Cena joins other celebrities like Nick Carter, Kai Greene, Tracy Marrow (Ice-T), and Antonio Brown, who have shown interest in Shiba Inu since its launch in August 2020.

John Cena’s connection to Shiba Inu adds star power to the community, keeping fans hopeful and motivated.
