SHIB price shows improving momentum as a rising wedge forms, while stronger RSI readings and Shibarium infrastructure progress add further market focus.

Shiba Inu price exhibits signs of short-term strength improvement as its price trades in a rising wedge chart formation, along with the increase in buying pressure from technical indicators.

At the time of writing, SHIB is trading at $0.000005719, with a 24-hour trading volume of $105.18 million and a market capitalization of approximately $3.36 billion. The token has gained 7.02% over the last 24 hours, reflecting increased activity around the meme coin.

Shib Inu Price Forms Rising Wedge Pattern

On 21 September 2026, Crypto With Gopal noted that SHIB is trading within a ranging wedge pattern on the 15-minute chart.

The cryptocurrency is currently trading near the $0.00000560 price level, with a succession of higher lows implying that buyers have remained active at lower prices. On the other hand, price action is being constricted from the upside due to resistance at the upper trendline.

With the narrowing of the wedge pattern, Shiba Inu price is approaching a critical point for a technical breakout. A breakout of the upper trendline may enable a further rise, while a breakout of the lower trendline may trigger a retreat towards the target on the chart.

This is why confirmation will be very important before the next big play. For now, however, the chart formation looks bullish, and the trend of the breakout will decide if momentum stays strong.

Shiba Inu Technical Indicators Show Improving Strength

Exponential moving averages (EMAs) on SHIB also indicate better short-term price performance. The cryptocurrency is trading above the 20-day EMA, valued at roughly $0.00001, with 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day EMAs staying relatively close to each other.

A rise above the shorter-term average suggests that short-term price performance is getting better. Yet, long-term EMAs should be considered too, as they might provide resistance to further growth of SHIB.

The current reading of the 14-day RSI indicator stands at 62.10, which is higher than its average value of 52.69. It shows the presence of greater buying pressure than usual for the RSI indicator.

On the other hand, the RSI stays below the 75 overbought territory and, therefore, does not show signs of being overvalued yet. If the buying pressure continues, the RSI could continue growing.

Shibarium Restructuring Resolved as dRPC Transition Continues

Furthermore, an update from Mazrael, who has been in the Shiba Inu community for some time now, in a post made on X on September 20, stated, “Kaal says reorg is solved.” However, according to the post, dRPC still had to undergo the transition in its new environment as well. The update was made public, but no technical details have been provided regarding why there was a reorg in the first place.

What Happens Next for Shib Inu Price

The next action for SHIB would be determined by how it behaves relative to the resistance formed by the rising wedge pattern or if it breaches below the lower trendline. On the other hand, there is Shibarium’s remaining DRPC transition that needs to be completed within the ecosystem.
