Solana’s real-world asset ecosystem has crossed 400,000 holders, marking a major increase from early 2025. Meanwhile, SOL is holding near $102 as traders watch the $101–$102 support zone and $109–$110 resistance for signs of the next major price move.

Solana’s real-world asset ecosystem has reached a new milestone after the network crossed 400,000 RWA holders for the first time. The figure highlights the rapid expansion of tokenized assets on Solana and marks a sharp increase from the fewer than 10,000 RWA holders recorded in January 2025.

The latest data, highlighted by Everstake, shows that the number of users holding real-world assets on Solana has grown dramatically in less than two years. The increase points to a wider user base participating in tokenized assets rather than RWA activity remaining limited to a small group of early adopters.

The development also adds to Solana’s growing presence in the tokenization sector. As financial assets and other real-world assets increasingly move on-chain, networks capable of handling large numbers of transactions and users could play a larger role in the market.

SOL Price Holds Near $102 After Recent Rally

While Solana’s RWA adoption continues to expand, SOL price is facing an important technical test.

SOL is trading around $102.01, down approximately 1.44% over the past 24 hours. However, the token remains higher over longer periods, gaining around 33% over the past 30 days and approximately 1.45% over the past week.

The price is currently trading in a 24-hour trading range from around $102.28 to $105.20. The breakout from this recent rally has made the $100 level a key psychological level for SOL.

An upside breach above $105 could create a positive setup for the bulls and allow them to test higher resistance levels. However, further selling in the $100–$102 region could make the recent rally vulnerable.

Solana Technical Analysis Points to Key $109 Resistance

As per the latest Solana technical analysis, SOL has been moving sideways after experiencing an impressive rally from the $76 mark towards $109.

The digital currency is currently holding above the 20-day Bollinger Band midline at the $101.87 mark. This price becomes the first major support for SOL. As long as the cryptocurrency continues to stay above this zone, the bullish setup will remain intact.

Positive factors include the upper Bollinger Band at around $109.03. Therefore, the $109-$110 range could act as a strong resistance level for SOL price.

A sustained breakout above $109-$110 could make the recent $112-$116 range more interesting to watch. Otherwise, failure below the middle band of $101.87 could drag the lower Bollinger Band towards $94.70.

SOL MACD Shows Cooling Buying Momentum

The momentum indicators now give a more conservative reading. The MACD line is at 4.74, below the signal line, which is at 5.70, with the histogram at -0.96. This indicates that the buying momentum has slowed down after the latest rally of SOL.

This means that the outlook is bearish in the near term unless the bulls take control and drive the SOL price above the $109 resistance level.

As things stand, the $101-$102 zone is important for the near future. This zone can prove crucial in making another attempt towards the upside, and a breakdown would open up the chance of testing $94-$95.

Analyst Sees Bullish Signals for SOL

Crypto analyst Ash Crypto has highlighted several longer-term indicators that could support a more bullish outlook for Solana.

As per the analyst, SOL has made its first green monthly candle in 10 months. The monthly MACD is also heading towards a bullish crossover, and the monthly RSI has broken the bearish trend of two years.

Such trends imply that the momentum of SOL could be strengthening for the long run but not necessarily ensure that a consistent upward movement will materialize.

The confluence of growing RWA adoption and strengthening technicals on the longer horizon makes Solana a peculiar case within its market cycle.

What Happens Next for Solana Price?

Solana is now experiencing two crucial things simultaneously: the adoption of real-world assets and the technical tug-of-war over the critical price levels.

The growth in the number of RWA owners to 400,000+ serves as a clear indication of the network’s adoption, whereas SOL needs to return above $109-$110.

If SOL continues trading above $101-$102 and manages to pierce $109, then the previous highs at $112-$116 can be considered the next target. Alternatively, failure to hold the $101 level may result in a deeper pullback down to $94-$95.

At least for now, the next decisive move above or below these levels will tell whether Solana’s latest rally evolves into a bearish reversal or remains in a consolidation phase.
