Play GOC

PLAY GOC arrives at TronWalletMe

February 19, 2019 by Ali Qamar

The platform

PLAY_GOC (https://play.goc.network) is one of the 200 decentralized applications running on Tron’s network and blockchain.  It’s a gaming/betting app that includes many classic casino games such as Dice, BlackJack, Roulette, Baccarat, a virtual slot machine, and many others under development.

It’s been very successful. It’s already the world’s third-largest dApp, according to dappradar.com (a website that monitors the activity in the cryptoverse’s blockchain applications) serving more than 6.5k users every day. Crazy Dogs Live is the only largest app in Tron, and not by much (6.6k users daily).

The Tokens

It’s not just a casino, in the traditional sense of the world. It’s decentralized, unlike any traditional gaming platform. And it also a Tron-based cryptocurrency called RWD which you mine in the website just by playing the available games and another one called PLAY.

The main value behind the PLAY GOC developing team is that using blockchain technology should be fun and rewarding for users and that a gaming site should offer a variety of activities besides just playing and betting digital assets. That’s why the platform includes a trading platform as well (Play Market) in which you can trade a variety of Tron-based tokens if you so wish.

PLAY is the token that fuels the platform for the main part. It’s designed strategically to enhance the PLAY GOC environment and you can exchange it for TRX or other Tron-based tokens.

RWD is an incentive for you to keep playing. You play using a variety of Tron-based tokens in PLAY GOC and as you place your bets, the system is mining RWD tokens on your behalf. Owning RWD tokens also allows you to join in some of the site’s special activities.

You can buy either token in some of Tron’s decentralized exchanges, like the one included in Tronscan’s platform. The tokens are supported by the TronLink Wallet, which is very popular because it’s very easy to install and use. It’s a Google Chrome extension, so it takes less than two minutes to install and set up a personal Tron Wallet that supports almost all the currently available TRC10 and TRC20 tokens, including, of course, TRX.

Support from TronWalletMe mobile app

And now, TronWalletMe, which is a secure p2p crypto wallet and exchange platform for Tron-based tokens are adopting PLAY GOC’s in its wallet. The wallet is a mobile app you can get for either your Android or Apple phone and it’s not your typical run-of-the-mill wallet as it includes a decentralized exchange for you to trade in Tron-based currencies.

https://twitter.com/PLAY_GOC/status/1096489097739157504

This is a nod to PLAY_GOC’s achievements as a decentralized application by the Tron community which is using it, playing in it, and enjoying it. While there wasn’t any doubt in any Tron community member’s mind about how important the gambling platform is becoming, having its tokens supported by more and more of the other apps in Tron (TronWalletMe in this case), create more awareness and credibility for PLAY GOC.

And it deserves it. PLAY GOC maybe looks like a simple (but nice) gaming website. It’s a lot more than that. It’s one of the manifold ways in which Tron will achieve total web decentralization sooner or later.

Tron and Play_Goc are taking over the world

February 10, 2019 by Ali Qamar

When Tron became an independent network from Ethereum last May, there was a lot of talk about “the Ethereum killer.” It was suspected that title would go to Tron, or EOS, or Cardano.

Some observers thought that Ethereum was just unbeatable, and some were very optimistic about Tron’s and EOS’s potential. It’s been almost eight months now, so what are the stats showing us?

The second most used dApp in the world

You can monitor the world’s decentralized applications as closely as you want. For that, you could use several resources. Among those, there is the dappradar.com website which tracks the number of users and token flow that is going through every dApp in the world every day.

By the site’s standards, the top ten dApps are running on Tron and EOS (noticeably, not on Ethreum). Five of those run on, Tron, and the rest on EOS.

Among those five apps running on Tron Play_Goc stands out.

It’s a gaming and gambling app that features traditional betting games such as Blackjack, but they have a plus: they are decentralized, and they offer fair odds to players, which is something you could never expect at a traditional gambling website in which the house must always have an edge. Which is not wrong, the house must be able to make a buck by letting you play.

The app is serving 6,600 users every day, and it supports a wide variety of digital currencies. TRX is the main among them because all the others are Tron-based tokens (BTT, PLAY, SEED, IGG, ANTE, LVH, and GOC).

Tron is taking over

And why is this so important? Because it means that Tron’s blockchain and community of developers are finding the way to develop and deploy exciting apps that attract users that are excited about the project and the project’s native token (Tronix, or TRX).

So Tron is managing to position itself as the Ethereum killer indeed. Why? Because Tron can boast a million more users (or at least confirmed accounts) than EOS.

It’s all about the use case

So this app is a use case for TRX but also for many other Tron-based tokens. And that’s quite important. The Tron community is very bullish about the Tronix coin, and they like buying it and using it to support the network’s apps. This is very important because this kind of interest from users is the thing that creates genuine demand for the digital asset and that demand will end up translating into market performance.

And that’s what we’ve seen recently. Tronix remains a relatively cheap cryptocurrency but over the last couple of months, it went from 11th place to market capitalization to 7th. And then it lost a spot, to stabilize at 8th. Keep in mind that Tron has been moving forward and growing in a year in which most other projects have been shrinking, losing people and value. So that growth is very impressive from any way you could see it.

Tron is here to stay because it’s giving us interesting apps. And Play_Goc is top on that list.

All about the Play Goc gaming platform is right here

January 29, 2019 by Naveed Iqbal

TronBet has been shaking the cryptosphere lately. It’s already among the top ten decentralized applications by users served daily, and it’s the one with the most cash flow in the world. But it’s not the only game in town, and if you would like to see a gambling site in the cryptoverse that’s blockchain-based but in which you can actually recognize the games, then Play Goc is for you.

Don’t get us wrong. TronBet’s games are quite entertaining but they’re on the nerdy side of things and they’re not always exactly intuitive. Goc Play, on the other hand, brings to the blockchain world a set of classic casino games such as Dice, Blackjack, Roulet, Baccarat, Plinko, and even a slot machine emulation. And those are just the ones that are live already, but many more games are under development and will be deployed soon.

Goc Play runs over Tron’s network and it supports five different tokens. It even issues two Tron-based tokens native to the platform, which are called Play and Reward (RWD).

You can think of the PLAY tokens as of playing chips in a casino. If you have some TRX then you can use it to buy PLAY and use your PLAY to place bets on the platform. This, of course, means that you need a wallet compatible with the website that supports TRX and PLAY. The good news is that such wallet exists, it’s safe, it’s free and it’s easy to install. It’s called TronLink and it is a Chrome Browser extension. It takes less than half a minute to install.

Once your TronLink extension is ready for use in your browser you just create a wallet, buy a few TRX tokens and voilá! You’re ready to play by directing your browser to https://play.goc.network/. It’s exactly as simple as it seems.

You can also buy PLAY tokens at GOC DEX, which is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange specialized in TRC20 tokens (those are the tokens issued using Tron’s token technology).

The Reward (RWD) token is one you can’t buy at exchanges, on the other hand. You have to mine it. But don’t fear, you don’t need to sacrifice any of your computing power or to buy any new hardware. This token is mined by simply playing the platform’s games.

As you play you’ll get some RWD as an incentive and, every now and then, the admins do a token airdrop among the players that are online. And owning some RWD gives you the added advantages of participation in several of the platform’s reward systems.

Goc Play is cool, is very well designed, it’s a lot of fun and it basically pays you for having a good time playing Blackjack, Dice, or Baccarat. What else can you ask from an online casino? On top of all, using this decentralized application creates traction and demand for Tron as a blockchain and project, and for TRX as a cryptocurrency. It increases trade volumes and demand which are, in turn, the things that will confer higher value on the coin.

So you won’t be just having a bit of fun, earning a little passive income and chatting with a lot of nice people within the Tron community. You’ll also be supporting the project’s viability.

Tron-based GOC DEX about to go mobile

January 28, 2019 by Ali Qamar

The overly ambitious Tron-based platform called GOC announced that its decentralized exchange platform is going mobile. This is quite surprising when you take into account that the web version has been plagued with problems and it was not working (“under maintenance”) last week (for a while though). But it is terrific news nevertheless so let’s dig in a little more detail.

GOC is a family of decentralized apps that run on Tron’s network and blockchain. There’s GOC Play and GOC DEX.

GOC Play is gaming and gambling online platform which includes several classic casino games such as dice (craps), roulette, blackjack, baccarat, plinko, the fruits (a slot machine clone) with many more under development that will be online soon.

It has two native cryptocurrencies associated with it, one is called PLAY, and the other one is called Reward (RWD). Both are Tron-based tokens. The first one you can get at GOC DEX (a decentralized token exchange for TRC20 tokens developed and managed by the same team) and you use it to place your bets at the platform. The second one is, as the name suggests, a coin you get as a reward (or incentive) for using the platform to have some fun playing the available games.

Joining either GOC platform is exceedingly easy. All it takes is having a TronLink wallet. This particular wallet is nothing but a Chrome extension which takes less than 30 seconds to install in your browser, and once it’s there, you’re basically all set. You just need to get a few PLAY tokens, and that’s it. You’re ready to play, have some fun, and start getting some RWD tokens which you can use to buy tickets for the Weekly Reward Pool party, and acquire the right to some additional benefits that will increase in the future, according to the platform’s FAQ.

The latest news from GOC is that GOC DEX, the decentralized crypto exchange for TRC20 tokens in which you can get PLAY tokens, is going to become a mobile app shortly. The announcement came about at GOC’s Twitter account (@PLAY_GOC), and it features a screen cap that shows how the app is going to look like.

So why is this relevant? The web version doesn’t even work properly (it went to maintenance last week all of a sudden, but yeah, was up very shortly again) as you could see either by opening the site’s link (https://market.goc.network/en/exchange/v2?id=33) or by reading the comments that Tron users were posting at the platform’s Twitters.

Well, as we wrote in the previous paragraph, the site runs correctly now already. But more than that, crypto mobile apps are one of the ways in which decentralized apps and blockchain technology can achieve mass adoption a lot more quickly. And mass adoption is the name of the game. The more people that can find an easy way to join any of these platforms and buy TRX or Tron-based tokens, the more demand there will be for those tokens. And real-world demand is the one thing that can give any cryptocurrency market value and capitalization.

Tron and Tron-based projects have found ways to reach lots of new users and to capitalize on the currency. The proof is in the pudding: Tron is 8thth by market capitalization right now when just a few weeks ago it was 11th. That’s an amazing rate of growth, especially since the rest of the market is still bearish and keeps shrinking.

PLAY GOC makes vital announcements for LoveHearts and TRC10 WIN holders

January 8, 2019 by Naveed Iqbal

Part of the recent strides of Tron is the production of a token-based incentivized gaming platform known as PLAY GOC. This is a platform where Tron users can play and create games with their various tokens. At the moment, the platform boasts of 5 live games and a multi-token mining system for its users.

Play GOC platform recently made an important announcement on its official Twitter page for LoveHearts and TRC10 holders that it will pause LoveHearts deposit and withdrawals and TRC10 WIN swaps until TRC10 support resumes. That’s finished now, already. The official statement reads

“The second proposal to allow duplicated names for trc10 tokens is passing, which will cause disruption for trc10 tokens across the network. To prevent errors we are pausing lovehearts deposit and withdrawals and trc10 WIN swaps until trc10 support resumes. ”

The second proposal stated by PLAY GOC from the aforementioned tweet is seen as the change Tron is bringing into its system, and that’s only to prevent big issues that have to do with the withdrawals and deposits of Loveheart tokens. As promised, PLAY GOC paused withdrawals/deposits for a very short time and that’s a done thing as we write this.

https://twitter.com/PLAY_GOC/status/1082832571426197504

PLAY GOC was created towards the end of last year, 2018, but it had some hurdles to jump; the platform has promised that great things will kick off this year. The platform’s Telegram group earlier revealed that mining is being tested and will be ready on the 5th of January, 2019 UTC (so that’s done now, too).

As of today, PLAY GOC users can now mine and play games to earn RWD tokens (or deposit 1 million PLAY or more to get RWD airdrops), which they can redeem for their share of the pot of PLAY, GOC, and TRX. It is necessary for all users to note that the weekly timer of the pot started on Monday.

Subsequently, daily airdrops have started for PLAY holders. One of their official tweets reads,

“Daily $RWD #Airdrops have started for #PLAY Holders! Mining is live in 5 games, first Reward Party soon! Payout is in TRX/GOC/PLAY. Mine and buy tickets, or hold or sell RWD later on #GOC #DEX. play.goc.network/airdrops/#TRX #TRON @Justinsuntron @TronFoundation #crypto.”

It is important to also know that the first mining round is over 60% complete and users are advised to play the 5 live games with TRX, GOC, and PLAY tokens on the platform. Users are also advised to mine RWD tokens and buy tickets to the Reward Party.

More upcoming updates on PLAY GOC

PLAY GOC revealed on its official Twitter page about its intentions to add a new game for all gaming lovers on its platform; the game is called Three Card Poker. It tweeted:

“Three Card Poker now added to coming soon on the $PLAY platform! #tron.”

Furthermore, the platform also stated that there will be a more visual enhancement on its site, customizable user chat names, various bugs fixes, Reward pool page, mining progress page, and FAQ. Also, there will be additional site updates and a whitepaper for the platform.

Overall, there seem to be many updates coming from PLAY GOC and other tokens on the Tron platform more often now. And of course, token holders should stay alerted for important updates on Tron network. Good thing is, TronWeekly is here to keep you updated on all that!
