XRP is showing renewed bullish momentum after breaking from its long-term downtrend and holding above key EMA support. Analysts are watching the $1.35-$1.50 range closely, while $18.98 million in weekly ETF inflows and rising derivatives activity strengthen the broader demand outlook.

XRP is showing renewed bullish momentum after a strong breakout from its long-term downtrend. Improving technical conditions, rising market participation, and stronger investor interest are supporting the bullish outlook. The broader setup suggests XRP could attract further attention as traders watch for its next major move.

XRP Price Breaks From Long-Term Downtrend

XRP has once again gained traction following an identification of the digital asset by crypto market analyst MikyBullCrypto as one of the most bullish-looking charts in the market. The crypto analyst anticipates a large move up that may see the digital currency rally to the price range of $5-7 at some point in the future.

However, XRP experienced an important structural change after the July and August period during which it was trading under $1.00. Instead, it picked up momentum quickly to trade at $1.70. This has been an important shift for the asset away from its bearish structure.

After getting above the $1.70 level, the XRP didn’t move further upward right away. The crypto started consolidating at the levels ranging from $1.35 to $1.50, giving the chance for the market to digest the previous gains made by XRP. The price of XRP is currently trading at $1.3787, which is an increase of 2.82%.

Moving Averages Keep Bullish Structure Intact

The technical indicators add further to the background information concerning the formation of the XRP setup.

The cryptocurrency is trading above the 20-day exponential moving average at $1.35889 as well as above the 200-day EMA at $1.35485. Keeping above these levels will assist in maintaining the positive setup, while below them will undermine it.

The connection between the price of XRP and its moving averages becomes crucial following the recent surge. Both metrics have been set at levels not far from the present price, thus defining a fairly small range of support.

Provided that the buyers will manage to hold this level, XRP might be ready for another test of its upper consolidation level.

RSI Signals Balanced Momentum

The XRP RSI also shows that the market is not as hot as before but has maintained its overall momentum. Currently, the RSI is at around 54.83, far lower than the levels seen previously when overbought at over 75 was evident. The fact that the RSI remains above the neutral 50 indicates that the buyers have an upper hand.

The RSI structure can turn out to be significant if XRP makes another attempt to test resistance. An advance above the recently observed consolidation and positive momentum will increase the likelihood of another upward leg.

On the other hand, if the price drops below the neutral momentum level and EMA support, then it indicates that the sellers have taken control of the short-term structure.

Trading Activity and ETF Inflows Strengthen Outlook

The derivatives statistics have also witnessed increased volumes of activities on the XRP coin. As per the Coinglass figures, the 24-hour trading volume has been increased by 79.53% to $2.40 billion, and at the same time, the open interest has also been up by 1.49% to $2.89 billion.

It is worth noting that the rise in open interest should be considered carefully, as it implies that there is an increasing number of leveraged trades being made. This factor can help in triggering a breakout if there is high spot buying, although it can also lead to increased volatility if there is crowded positioning.

Whale Insider data brings yet another factor to the emerging XRP scenario, which is the fact that there have been $18.98 million worth of net inflows into XRP ETFs in the past week. Such inflows, if maintained over time, would bolster the bigger picture of increasing demand.

What Happens Next for XRP?

All these factors combined give a favorable technical picture for XRP. However, the forecast of MikyBullCrypto in relation to the price range of $5-$7 is only a positive forecast of XRP and not a fact yet. XRP needs to make some technical moves and attract some buyers.
