Shiba Inu’s governance token Bone ShibaSwap [BONE], gets added to the multi-asset trading platform BlueBit.io.
The exchange teased Bone’s listing in a tweet dated Aug 25 directed to Shiba Inu lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama that said, “A Shiba Inu needs his LEASH and BONE, right? @ShytoshiKusama.”
To which the lead developer replied, “Sure does Bluebit. What do you think SHIBARMY?
Following the addition, the 727-ranked token witnessed a rally of over 70% on 30 August, data from CoinMarketCap revealed.
Powered by the Ethereum blockchain, Bone ShibaSwap crypto is primarily the crypto asset that allows users belonging to the Shib community to vote on future Shiba Inu projects. Apart from that, the BONE token enables features such as staking and swapping.
Together with SHIB and LEASH, the trio crypto completes the ShibaSwap ecosystem allowing the users of the ShibArmy to access upcoming NFTs and additional tools.
Being a relatively newer token on the horizon, BONE has witnessed massive traction over the past year.
Exchanges continue to extend support for BONE. For instance, recently, the official SHIB Twitter handle revealed that the Singapore-based MEXC exchange, has inked a deal with Bone ShibaSwap and announced a prize pool of 5,555 BONE to eligible users who participate in the “Sign up, Deposit & Trade” event.
Before the exchange BlueBit listing, the BONE crypto was also vying to be listed on Gate.io, a leading centralized crypto exchange.
Not only that the CEX was rumored to be the face behind the buying spree of nearly 500,000 million BONE tokens.
Shiba Inu Expands Utility In UAE
In a Q&A session on Telegram, the lead developer of ShibaSwap, Shytoshi Kusama, explained why Bone was showered more attention in the ecosystem.
“BONE was chosen because it isn’t controlled by large bankers/exchanges, and mostly it is owned by us. When you are dealing with voting, you want a decentralized voting system and truly the people to be in control. That’s not the case if Exchange X can vote to do Y,” he said.
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu too recently gained more utility, thanks to a partnership between Binance and UAE business services provider Virtuzone.
All cryptocurrencies that are registered in the Binance Pay program, which includes SHIB, stand to benefit from it.
