TRON [TRX] Is Now Supported On This Luxemborg-Based Exchange

September 15, 2022 by Lipika Deka

TRON [TRX] gets featured on Blockchain.com for trading as well as earning rewards in the exchange’s wallet. According to the press release, there will be several incentive schemes, one of which rewards TRX holders up to 8% in annual rewards.

“TRX is available to send, receive, buy, sell, swap, and earn rewards in the Blockchain.com Wallet and to deposit, trade, and withdraw on the Blockchain.com Exchange, making TRX more accessible for people to use worldwide”.

Founded in 2011, led by Peter Smith, Blockchain.com called itself the early pioneer of key infrastructure for the bitcoin community and later created a crypto wallet and exchange. The firm boasts of conducting over trillion transactions and has offices across 200 countries around the globe.

As stated on its website, Blockchain.com is a full-stack crypto services platform that works with crypto-native businesses and institutional clients on lending, trading, and custody solutions tailored to the client’s needs.

With respect to the latest listing, TRX would now be available to over 37 million verified users worldwide and 84 million wallet holders.

Apart from trading platforms, market makers also are helping the TRX token improve liquidity across various exchanges.

Tron Strikes Deal With Wintermute To Become Official Partner

The TRON ecosystem recently entered into a strategic partnership with one of the largest players in the global digital asset markets.

Wintermute will be in charge of establishing liquid TRX markets and assisting DeFi activity on the network as Tron’s official market maker. Its DeFi ecosystem is second-largest after Ethereum in terms of Total Value Locked [TVL].

There is now $5.84 billion in TVL spread across Tron’s 10 projects, whereas, the $35.22 billion that Ethereum boasts comes from 553 separate projects.

On the landmark deal, David Micley, director of business development at Wintermute, said:

“Whether it’s through judging the recent Grand Hackathon, joining the TRON DAO Reserve as a whitelisted member, and most recently launching our partnership as the designated liquidity provider for TRX, Wintermute is proud to utilize our DeFi and market-making expertise to strengthen the Tron ecosystem,” he said.

The TRON protocol and its dApp ecosystem are supported by TRX, a TRC-20 utility coin. As the native token, TRX powers smart contracts to handle transaction costs and operates as a unit of account for the entire TRON ecosystem.
